Terms of Service

Last updated: October 10, 2026

These terms govern your use of BlackUI: BYOK Lite (“the app”), built and maintained by Thoiba Trader (Lanka, Hojai, Assam, India). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Bring your own keys. The app does not include or provide any AI service. You supply your own API keys and are responsible for them, for what you send with them, and for any charges or limits from the provider.

1. What the app is

BlackUI: BYOK Lite is a dashboard that lets you chat with AI models using your own API keys (Google Gemini; and, with the optional Advance Features, Anthropic Claude), work with files, preview AI-written code, and build Android APK/AAB packages through your own GitHub account. It has no accounts and no servers operated by us. It relies on third-party services that we do not own or control.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian where the law allows it, and be legally able to enter these terms. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and with the terms of every provider you connect.

3. Your keys and third-party accounts

You are responsible for obtaining, securing and paying for any API key or token you add (Google, Anthropic, GitHub). Keys are stored on your device and used directly with the provider. We cannot see, reset or recover them, and we have no visibility into or control over your usage, billing, quotas or account status with those providers. Providers may change prices, models, limits or availability, or suspend your key, at any time. If a key is exposed, revoke it with the provider immediately. Never share keys or post screenshots that show them.

4. Your content and AI output

You keep ownership of the messages, files and code you provide. The app processes them on your device and sends them to the provider you have chosen, so you must have the right to use that content and must follow the provider’s rules.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased or unsuitable for your purpose. Check it before relying on it, especially for code that will be shipped, and for legal, medical, financial or other important decisions. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI output. As between you and us, we claim no ownership of the output generated for you and impose no restriction on its use, subject to the terms of the AI provider that generated it.

5. Ownership and what you may not do

The app, its design, name, logo, in-app images and illustrations, and its source code are owned by Thoiba Trader or its licensors and are protected by law. You are given a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app. You may not copy, redistribute or reuse the app’s images, logo or branding outside the app, nor decompile, modify or republish the app to offer a competing or derivative product. Open-source libraries included in the app remain under their own licences, and the APK/AAB base template is a separate open-source component published under the licence stated in its own GitHub repository.

6. APK/AAB builder and base template

The builder is an optional Advance Feature. By using it you understand and agree that:

  • It creates a repository in your own GitHub account from the open-source template at github.com/thoibatrader-ship-it/apk-template-lite, uploads your app files to it, and runs the build on your GitHub Actions minutes. Nothing is built on our infrastructure, and the raw logs are visible to you in your repository.
  • The repository is created private. You are responsible for any decision to make it public, and for any secrets or personal data in the code you upload.
  • GitHub’s own limits, pricing and policies apply and are outside our control.
  • The signing keystore and password are generated on your device and sent only to your own repository as encrypted secrets. We cannot recover them. If you lose them you will not be able to publish updates under the same signature. Back them up yourself.
  • We do not guarantee that builds will succeed on every device or Android version, or that Amazon, Google Play or any other store will accept an app built this way. You are responsible for what you build and publish, including complying with app-store rules and applicable law, and for the rights to everything you include in your app.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the app to: break the law or infringe others’ rights; create, distribute or promote illegal, harmful, hateful, abusive or deceptive content; create malware or attack, probe or disrupt any service; or violate the rules of Google, Anthropic, GitHub, Amazon or any other connected provider. AI-written code and preview content run on your device, so review them before you run, install or distribute anything.

8. Purchase and refunds

The Advance Features unlock (Claude support and the APK/AAB builder) is a one-time in-app purchase made through the Amazon Appstore. Amazon processes the payment and handles billing, taxes, receipts, and refund and cancellation requests under the Amazon Appstore terms. Amazon Appstore’s standard refund policies apply. We do not receive your payment details and cannot issue refunds ourselves. If you have a problem with a purchase, contact Amazon Customer Service first; you can also email us and we will help where we can. The purchase unlocks features in the app only; it does not pay for, extend or reset any provider’s usage, quotas or charges (Google, Anthropic or GitHub), which stay between you and that provider.

9. Availability and changes

Features marked Beta, including Claude support and the APK/AAB builder, depend on third-party APIs whose availability, pricing and behaviour can change without notice. We may change, add or remove features, supported models or these terms at any time. We do not promise that the app will always be available, uninterrupted or compatible with future provider changes. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

10. "As is" and no warranty

The app, including all Beta features, is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app is free of bugs, errors or security issues, that it will work on every device, or that it will be uninterrupted. Use it at your own risk.

11. Dependence on third-party services

The app works only through third-party services that we do not own, operate or control (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, GitHub, Amazon and others). Their availability, pricing, quotas, models, policies and behaviour can change or stop at any time, and may break or limit features of the app. We are not responsible for any outage, change, suspension, error or output of a third-party service.

12. Limited liability: your risk, your responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you use the app entirely at your own risk and Thoiba Trader has no liability to you for any loss or damage of any kind arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, the AI output or the APK/AAB builder. In particular, you alone are responsible for, and we are not liable for:

  • API charges and bills. Every cost created by your keys (including heavy, unexpected or runaway usage, large files, long conversations, automatic routing, retries, or misuse of an exposed key) is billed by the provider to you, and is entirely your responsibility. Set spending limits with your providers.
  • Financial, business or other loss, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunities and any decision made on the basis of AI output.
  • Loss of data, including chats, keys, tokens, keystores and passwords, and repositories or builds created in your GitHub account.
  • Suspended or compromised accounts or keys at any third-party provider.
  • Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage.

Maximum amount. In any case where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app (the Advance Features purchase through the Amazon Appstore). If you paid nothing, our liability is nil. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The app is a low-cost tool and must not be relied on for decisions with large financial, legal, medical or safety consequences.

13. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering or supporting the app. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, as-is, third-party dependence, liability and governing law) will survive.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration clause below, any legal dispute, claim or proceeding arising out of or in connection with this app or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hojai District, Assam, India.

15. Informal resolution and binding arbitration

Step 1 — talk to us first. Before starting any formal claim, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing [email protected] with a description of the problem. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.

Step 2 — arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved, it shall be finally settled by binding arbitration rather than in court, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The tribunal will be a sole arbitrator, the seat of arbitration will be Hojai, Assam, India, the language will be English, and the proceedings will be conducted online or on written submissions wherever possible. The arbitrator’s award is final and binding on both parties.

Either party may go to the competent courts at Hojai, Assam, only to seek urgent interim relief, to enforce an arbitral award, or for a matter that cannot lawfully be arbitrated.

16. No class actions

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action.

17. Severability and applicable law

The clauses in this section and the limitations of liability above apply to the maximum extent permitted by the law that applies to you. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable in your jurisdiction, that part will be applied to the closest extent allowed and the rest of the Terms will remain in force.
